God spoke, “I am the Lord, your God. You shall obey these laws.”

You shall have no gods but me.

You shall make no statues or pictures of gods.

You shall not use my mane carelessly.

Remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.

Honor your father and mother.

You shall not commit murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not lie.

You shall not be jealous of your neighbor.

These are the ten commandments that God told Moses and his people. They promise to follow these laws.

하나님이 말씀하셨다. “나는 너희들의 하느님이다. 너희들은 이 법을 따라야 한다.”

나 이외의 신을 두지 말라. / 다른 신들의 조각상을 만들거나 그림을 그리지 말라. / 내 이름을 함부로 사용하지 말라. / 안식일을 기억하고 거룩하게 지키라. / 네 부모를 공경하라. / 살인하지 말라. / 간음하지 말라. / 도둑질하지 말라. / 거짓말하지 말라. / 네 이웃을 시샘하지 말라. /

이것들은 하느님이 모세와 그의 백성들에게 말씀하신 십계명이다. 그들은 이 계율들을 따르겠다고 약속했다.
